Bart Van Opstal

Bart Van Opstal is a Belgian politician and member of the Flemish Parliament representing the Antwerp constituency since 2024. Before entering politics, he served as a police officer in Antwerp from 1992 to 2000 and gained national prominence as a contestant on the Belgian edition of Big Brother. He later worked in the football industry, managing catering and events for Lierse SK, and operated a cafe before transitioning into the real estate sector. A member of the Flemish nationalist party Vlaams Belang, he founded the party's local branch in Olen in 2020.
