Bas van den Tillaar

Bas van den Tillaar is a Dutch politician and administrator currently serving as the Mayor of Vlissingen, a position he has held since April 2016. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), he previously served as the Mayor of Gulpen-Wittem from 2007 to 2016. Earlier in his career, he was an alderman and deputy mayor in Mierlo and Geldrop-Mierlo. Before entering politics, he worked as an economics teacher. He is also active in various regional cultural and social organizations in Zeeland.
