Bastian Schneider

Bastian Schneider is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg, representing the Weinheim constituency since 2026. A legal scholar and former judge at the Administrative Court of Karlsruhe, he holds a doctorate in law from the University of Heidelberg. Schneider has an extensive background in public service, having worked in the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Justice, the Federal Constitutional Court, and the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia. Within the state parliament, he serves as the chairman of the Committee on the Interior and Digitalization and is a member of the Parliamentary Control Committee. Previously, he was active in the Junge Union, serving as deputy federal chairman from 2016 to 2022, and has been a member of the CDU federal board since 2022.
