Bastien Lachaud

Bastien Lachaud is a French politician and member of the National Assembly for the 6th constituency of Seine-Saint-Denis, first elected in 2017 and subsequently re-elected. A former history and geography teacher, he became a key figure within La France Insoumise, serving as a campaign strategist for Jean-Luc Mélenchon. His legislative work has focused on defense, human rights, and social issues, including the rehabilitation of soldiers executed during World War I and the prohibition of conversion therapies. He is a member of the National Defense and Armed Forces Committee.
