Beáta Jurík

Beáta Jurík is a Slovak politician, lawyer, and Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic representing the Progressive Slovakia party since October 2023. She studied law at the University of Bordeaux and the University of Strasbourg, later working in Strasbourg as an assistant professor teaching European, constitutional, and international law. Prior to entering active politics, she served as a political advisor for the Renew Europe group in the European Parliament focusing on the rule of law, anti-corruption, and EU funds, and was also active in NGOs supporting women's rights and family planning. She serves as a vice-chair of the Committee on European Affairs in the Slovak parliament.
