Beate Nielsen is a German politician and member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Since May 2025, she has served as a member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein, having succeeded Karin Prien. Prior to her current role, she held various local political positions, including Mayor of Schacht-Audorf from 2018 to 2023 and member of the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district council since 2013. Nielsen is a trained banker and has also served as an honorary judge at the Administrative Court of Schleswig.
