Béla Bálint

Béla Bálint is a Serbian haematologist, academic, and government minister serving as the Minister of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation since April 2025. A long-standing professor and head of transfusiology at the Military Medical Academy, he is also a full member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. In his political and public career, he has been a prominent supporter of President Aleksandar Vučić and previously served as President of the National Council for Higher Education.
