Ben Maguire

Ben Maguire is a British Liberal Democrat politician serving as the Member of Parliament for North Cornwall since the 2024 general election. A former solicitor and parliamentary aide, he currently serves on the Liberal Democrat frontbench as the Shadow Attorney General and is a member of the Home Affairs Select Committee. Maguire is a vocal advocate for Cornish devolution, having campaigned for the establishment of a Cornish Assembly, and has been active in local environmental issues, including successfully pressuring for the resignation of the South West Water CEO following sewage infrastructure failures.
