Bernard Gaffney

Bernard Gaffney is an Australian politician and former hurler who served as the Mayor of Indigo Shire in Victoria. A civil engineer by profession, he was elected to the Indigo Shire Council and held the mayoral office, where he focused on local infrastructure and community advocacy for the region. Prior to his political career, he was a prominent athlete, playing hurling at the club level for Newmarket-on-Fergus and at the inter-county level for the Clare senior hurling team in Ireland.
