Throughout his career, Daley has held various ministerial portfolios, including Minister for Roads, Minister for Police, and Minister for Finance. He previously served as the Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the New South Wales Labor Party from 2018 to 2019. Before entering state politics, he worked as a lawyer and served as a councillor for the Randwick City Council.
