
Bernhard Höfler

Bernhard Höfler is an Austrian politician and trade unionist who has served as a Member of the National Council since October 2024. Born in Innsbruck, he began his career in the tourism industry before transitioning to work for the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB) in 2007. A long-time member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ), he has held various leadership roles within the party and the Chamber of Labour in Tyrol. In 2025, he was elected as the SPÖ district party chairman for Innsbruck-Land and serves as the parliamentary spokesperson for the Ombudsman Board and volunteering.
