Berny Jacques

Berny Jacques is an American attorney and politician currently serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 59th district, having assumed office in November 2022. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he immigrated to Florida with his family in 1994. Before his election, Jacques worked as an assistant state attorney, a private practice associate, and a senior director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. He also served as a political analyst for Bay News 9 and holds degrees from Washington Adventist University and Stetson University College of Law.
