Rick Lewis is an American politician and former law enforcement officer currently serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing the 18th district. After a long career in law enforcement, including serving as the chief of police in Silverton, Oregon, he entered local politics as the mayor of Silverton in 2014. He was appointed to the state legislature in 2017 to fill a vacancy and has since been re-elected to the seat. His political record includes support for conservative policies, such as backing Texas Governor Greg Abbott's stance during the Standoff at Eagle Pass.
