Bhupender Yadav is an Indian politician currently serving as the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, a position he has held since 2024. A prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he previously served as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from 2012 to 2024. Before his political career, Yadav was a lawyer who served as government counsel for significant commissions, including the Liberhan Commission. Known as a 'Committee Man' for his extensive work on parliamentary panels, he played a key role in the development of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. He has also served as a national strategist for the BJP, overseeing election campaigns across several Indian states.
