Bill Clifford

Bill Clifford is an American politician and ophthalmologist currently serving as a member of the Kansas Senate for the 39th district. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he served for ten years as an F-15 fighter pilot before pursuing a medical career. He earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California and completed specialized training in ophthalmology. Prior to his election to the state legislature, he served on the Garden City Community College Board of Trustees and the Finney County Commission. He previously represented the 122nd district in the Kansas House of Representatives from 2021 to 2025.
