Karl Gillespie

Karl Gillespie is an American politician currently serving as a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 120th district since 2021. His district encompasses Cherokee, Clay, Graham, and Macon counties. Prior to his election to the state legislature, Gillespie served on the Macon County Board of Commissioners from 2016 to 2020. During his tenure in the House, he has held leadership roles in committees including Federal Relations and American Indian Affairs and the Wildlife Resources Committee, while also serving on the Appropriations and Agriculture committees.
