Billy Morin is a Canadian Cree First Nations leader and politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Edmonton Northwest, having been elected in the 2025 federal election. Before entering federal politics, he served as the Chief of the Enoch Cree Nation from 2015 to 2022, where he became the youngest person to hold that office. During his tenure, he focused on economic development, Indigenous tourism, and infrastructure projects, including the establishment of an urban reserve. He also served as the Grand Chief of the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations in 2020, where he led regional responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and advocated for sustainable resource development and Indigenous sovereign healthcare. Morin is recognized for his efforts to build partnerships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups to foster economic prosperity and reconciliation.
