Blair McDougall

Blair McDougall is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for East Renfrewshire since 2024 and as a Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Business and Trade since 2025. He is widely recognized for his role as the head strategist for the Better Together campaign during the 2014 Scottish independence referendum. Throughout his career, McDougall has worked as a political adviser, including roles for the Rwandan government and various Labour Party figures. He is also the chair of the Stop Uyghur Genocide charity and has extensive experience in international governance and strategic communications.
