Mohammad Yasin

Mohammad Yasin is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Bedford since 2017. Born in Mirpur, Pakistan, he moved to the United Kingdom at age 21 and worked in a factory and as a taxi driver before entering local politics. He served as a Bedford Borough Councillor from 2006 to 2019, where he held the portfolio for Adult Services. In Parliament, Yasin has been a member of the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Committee and has consistently advocated for policies aligned with the Labour Party, including supporting the UK's membership in the European Union during the 2016 referendum.
