Božo Petrov is a Croatian politician and psychiatrist who currently serves as a Member of the Croatian Parliament. He previously held the positions of Speaker of the Croatian Parliament from 2016 to 2017 and Deputy Prime Minister in 2016. Before entering national politics, he served as the mayor of his hometown, Metković, from 2013 to 2016, where he gained recognition for his efforts to reduce municipal debt and increase administrative transparency. As a founding member and former president of the political party The Bridge, Petrov has consistently advocated for fiscal responsibility, public sector reform, and the reduction of government spending.
