Branko Bačić is a Croatian politician and engineer who currently serves as the Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia and the Minister of Construction, Spatial Planning and State Property. A long-standing member of the Croatian Democratic Union, he has held numerous high-level government positions, including Minister of Environmental Protection, Spatial Planning and Construction, and has served multiple terms as a member of the Croatian Parliament. Throughout his career, he has focused on infrastructure development, housing policy, and regional investment, notably leading initiatives for the Pelješac Bridge and various island-based economic projects. He is a veteran of the Croatian War of Independence and has previously served as the mayor of Blato.
