Bobby Gibson is an American politician and educator serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives for the 15th district. Born in Bloomfield, Connecticut, in 1966, he spent over 15 years working as a teacher and football coach for the Bloomfield and Hartford public school systems. He joined the Capitol Region Education Council in 2015 before being elected to the state legislature in a special election in 2018. During his tenure, he has served as an assistant majority leader and vice chair of the House General Law Committee.
