Bohuslav Svoboda

Bohuslav Svoboda is a Czech politician and physician who has served as the Mayor of Prague since February 2023, having previously held the office from 2010 to 2013. A member of the Civic Democratic Party, he also served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic from 2013 to 2025. Before his political career, Svoboda was a prominent gynaecologist, serving as the head of gynaecology clinics at Charles University Hospital and the Central Military Hospital in Prague, and as the president of the Czech Medical Chamber.
