Pavel Karpíšek

Pavel Karpíšek is a Czech politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, having been elected in 2025. A long-time local leader, he has served as the mayor of Vejprnice since 1993, with a brief interval as deputy mayor. His extensive political career includes serving as a senator for the Rokycany district from 2018 to 2024 and as a representative of the Plzeň Region, where he also held the position of deputy governor. A member of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), Karpíšek holds degrees in electrical engineering and law from the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň.
