Boriana Åberg

Boriana Åberg is a Bulgarian-born Swedish politician who has served as a member of the Riksdag since 2008, representing the Skåne County South constituency. After moving to Sweden, she earned a degree in sociology from Lund University and worked as a social secretary. A member of the Moderate Party, she previously served on the Kävlinge city council. In addition to her parliamentary duties, she has been a prominent member of the Swedish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 2014, where she has chaired the delegation since 2019.
