Brandon Wipf

Brandon R. Wipf is an American politician serving as a member of the South Dakota State Senate for the 22nd district since 2025. Appointed to the position by Governor Larry Rhoden to succeed David Wheeler, Wipf brings a background in agriculture to the legislature. Prior to his political career, he worked as a farmer in southern Spink County and served on the American Soybean Association Board of Directors starting in 2017. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Dordt University.
