Branko Marinković is a Bolivian politician, businessman, and economist currently serving as a Senator for the department of Santa Cruz. Born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, he previously held the positions of Minister of Development Planning and Minister of Economy and Public Finance during the administration of Jeanine Áñez. Before entering national government, he was a prominent civic leader, serving as president of the Pro Santa Cruz Civic Committee, and managed his family's industrial business, Industrias Oleaginosas S.A. His career has been marked by significant involvement in regional politics and agro-industrial development, as well as past legal controversies regarding land ownership and political opposition to the government of Evo Morales.
