Steven Brett Guthrie is an American politician and businessman serving as the U.S. Representative for Kentucky's 2nd congressional district since 2009. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Kentucky Senate from 1999 to 2008. Guthrie is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the Yale School of Management, and he formerly served as a field artillery officer in the 101st Airborne Division.
