Brian Burnett

Brian Burnett is an American politician and former law enforcement officer currently serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 12th district. Prior to his legislative career, he served for 25 years in law enforcement, including three terms as the Chelan County Sheriff. During his tenure as sheriff, he established a Behavioral Health Unit for mental health emergencies but also faced controversy regarding his opposition to COVID-19 vaccine mandates and various employment-related lawsuits. He resides in Wenatchee, Washington, with his family.
