Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema

Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema is a Gabonese military officer and politician currently serving as the President of Gabon. A career military figure, he previously commanded the Republican Guard and served as an aide-de-camp to President Omar Bongo. In August 2023, he led the coup d'état that ousted President Ali Bongo and subsequently served as the President of the Transition. Following his victory in the 2025 presidential election, he was inaugurated for a seven-year term and launched the Democratic Union of Builders party.
