Brittany Pettersen

Brittany Pettersen is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Colorado's 7th congressional district since 2023. Before her election to Congress, she served in the Colorado Senate and the Colorado House of Representatives, where she focused on progressive advocacy and legislative reform. Her career began in nonprofit work with New Era Colorado, an organization dedicated to increasing youth political participation. In Congress, Pettersen has been an advocate for family-friendly workplace policies, including efforts to allow proxy voting for members who have recently given birth. She is a member of the New Democrat Coalition and the Problem Solvers Caucus, and she serves on the House Committee on Financial Services.
