Steve Gist

Steve Gist is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives for District 25, representing parts of Cascade County. First elected in 2020, he has since secured re-election in 2022 and 2024. Throughout his legislative tenure, Gist has served on various committees, including Natural Resources, Business and Labor, and Local Government, and held the position of Majority Whip in 2023. Before entering politics, Gist worked as a registered nurse and operated an ambulance service, and he continues to manage a wildland fire contracting business with his wife.
