Nicole Malliotakis is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for New York's 11th congressional district since 2021. Before her election to Congress, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021 and was the Republican nominee for mayor of New York City in 2017. A graduate of Seton Hall University and Wagner College, she previously worked as a community liaison and in public affairs for the Consolidated Edison Company. As a legislator, she has focused on issues such as property tax relief for seniors, infrastructure, and opposition to congestion pricing in Manhattan. She is currently the only Republican representing New York City in the U.S. House of Representatives.
