Bud Williams

Bud L. Williams is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 11th Hampden District, representing the city of Springfield. Before his election to the state legislature, he served two separate tenures on the Springfield City Council from 1993 to 2008 and from 2011 to 2017. A member of the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus, Williams has held various committee assignments, including roles on the House Committee on Ways and Means and the Joint Committee on Education. In 2023, he gained attention for cosponsoring legislation regarding organ and bone marrow donation programs for incarcerated individuals.
