Buddhiman Tamang is a prominent Nepalese politician and a senior leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP). Since 2022, he has served as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal, elected through the proportional representation system representing the Indigenous Peoples category. Throughout his extensive political career, he has held numerous ministerial portfolios, including Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Local Development, and Minister of Water Resources. Notably, he was the first Home Minister from the Tamang indigenous community and is recognized for his long-standing participation in various coalition governments since the 1990s.
