C. Anthony Muse is an American politician and minister serving as a member of the Maryland Senate, representing the 26th district since 2023, having previously held the seat from 2007 to 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, he also served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1995 to 1999. Muse is a former Methodist pastor who founded the Ark of Safety Christian Church. Throughout his career, he has been described as a social conservative and has frequently engaged in state and local executive campaigns, including multiple bids for Prince George's County Executive and a 2012 run for the U.S. Senate.
