C. B. Suresh Babu

C. B. Suresh Babu is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. A prominent leader of the Janata Dal (Secular) party, he has represented the Chikkanayakanahalli constituency across multiple terms, having first been elected in 1999 and subsequently winning re-election in 2008 and 2013. In July 2024, he was appointed as the leader of his party in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, succeeding H. D. Kumaraswamy. He is the son of the late politician N. Basavaiah.
