Celine Widmer

Céline Widmer is a Swiss politician currently serving as a member of the Zurich City Council. Before her election to the city government in 2026, she served as a member of the Swiss National Council from 2019 to 2026, where she focused on financial, tax, and migration policy, as well as the rights of asylum seekers and undocumented individuals. Widmer holds a degree in political science from the University of Zurich and previously worked in urban policy research and as a staff member for the Mayor of Zurich. She is recognized for her solution-oriented approach and her commitment to social justice and economic equity.
