C. N. Manjunath is an Indian cardiologist and politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Bangalore Rural constituency. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished medical career, notably serving as the director of the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research for 18 years, where he was recognized for expanding cardiac care access and research. He is the son-in-law of former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda and was awarded the Padma Shri in 2007 for his significant contributions to medicine and philanthropy.
