C. P. Yogeshwar

C. P. Yogeshwar is an Indian politician and former actor who currently serves as a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Channapatna constituency. Before entering politics, he established a career in the Kannada film industry, appearing in several lead roles. Throughout his political tenure, he has held various positions, including serving as the Minister of Tourism, Environment, and Ecology in the Karnataka government. In 2024, after resigning from his position as a Member of the Legislative Council and leaving the Bharatiya Janata Party, he joined the Indian National Congress and successfully won the Channapatna assembly by-election.
