Carina Sammeli is a Swedish politician who has served as the Chair of the Municipal Executive Board of Luleå since January 2021. Born in Karlstad in 1978, she holds a degree in business and economics from Karlstad University. Before assuming her current leadership role in Luleå, Sammeli worked for the Swedish Transport Administration and served as a political advisor to the former Minister for Local Government, Sven-Erik Österberg. She has also held various positions within the Social Democratic Party, including working as an ombudsman.
