Carlos González

Carlos González is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 10th Hampden district since 2015. A resident of Springfield, Massachusetts, he is a member of the Democratic Party and serves as the president of the Massachusetts Latino Chamber of Commerce. He is also an active member of the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus. Prior to his legislative career, he worked as an aide to former Springfield Mayor Michael Albano. In 2023, he gained national attention for proposing legislation that would allow incarcerated individuals in Massachusetts to earn sentence reductions through organ or bone marrow donations.
