Carmen Orban

Carmen Orban is a Romanian physician, academic, and politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of Romania. Before entering politics, she had a distinguished career in medicine, serving as the manager of the Fundeni Clinical Institute and as the director general of the Monza medical group. She also served as a state counselor within the Prime Minister's chancellery starting in 2023. A specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care, she has contributed extensively to national scientific committees and holds the title of honorary citizen of Buzău.
