Carolina Darias San Sebastián is a Spanish politician currently serving as the Mayor of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), she previously held significant national and regional roles, including Minister of Health of Spain from 2021 to 2023 and Minister of Territorial Policy and Civil Service from 2020 to 2021. Earlier in her career, she served as the President of the Parliament of the Canary Islands and held various positions in regional government and city administration. Darias holds a law degree from the University of La Laguna.
