Carsten Hütter

Carsten Hütter is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Saxony, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Born in 1964, he served as a professional soldier in the Bundeswehr for twelve years before transitioning into a career as a motor vehicle mechanic and business owner. Hütter has been a member of the Saxon state parliament since 2014 and currently serves as the federal treasurer for the AfD. His political focus includes economic and infrastructure policy, and he has been a vocal critic of current immigration and security policies in Germany.
