Michael Kießling is a German engineer and politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag for Bavaria since 2017. Representing the Starnberg and Landsberg districts, he is a member of the Christian Social Union (CSU). Within the German parliament, he focuses on construction, housing, urban development, and environmental policy. He serves on the Committee on Construction, Housing, Urban Development and Communities and the Committee on the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. Additionally, he acts as his parliamentary group's rapporteur on the conversion of former Bundeswehr facilities and serves on the board of trustees for the Nuclear Waste Disposal Fund and Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.
