Stephan Stracke

Stephan Stracke is a German politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Bundestag representing Bavaria since 2009. A member of the Christian Social Union (CSU), he has been active in the Committee for Labour and Social Affairs and served as deputy chair of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group starting in 2021. Throughout his tenure, Stracke has participated in significant coalition negotiations, including those concerning health policy. His political record includes a notable vote against the introduction of same-sex marriage in Germany in 2017. Beyond his legislative duties, he contributes to the advisory board of the Deutsche Renten Information.
