Carter Barrett

Carter Barrett is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives for the 24th district. Originally from Augusta, Georgia, he built a career in the banking sector, co-founding the Community Business Bank in 2008 and later working with Affinity Bank. Barrett entered politics in 2022, defeating an incumbent in the Republican primary before winning the general election. He is known for his conservative stance, including opposition to abortion, and was recognized as the 2023 Outstanding Legislator of the Year by the Coalition of Advocates for Georgia's Elderly.
