Cassie Chambers Armstrong is an American politician and legal scholar serving as a member of the Kentucky Senate for District 19 since March 2023. Prior to her election to the state Senate, she served on the Louisville Metro Council from 2021 to 2023. In addition to her legislative duties, she works as an assistant professor of law at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. In October 2025, she assumed the role of Senate Minority Whip, further solidifying her leadership position within the Democratic caucus.
