Catherine Belrhiti

Catherine Belrhiti is a French politician and former professional karateka. Born in Italy, she had a distinguished athletic career, winning multiple European and world titles in kumite before transitioning into education as a certified history and geography teacher. She entered national politics in 2020, becoming a Senator for the Moselle department, and was subsequently elected to the Grand Est regional council in 2021. She currently serves as a member of the Senate, representing the interests of her constituency.
